ven
the comic, "popular" genre par excellence, meets the
historical figure of Lucrezia Borgia, in a not to be missed album
for the lovers of this form of communication which will see three
cult characters of the world of talking bubbles: Diabolik, Dago
and Martin Mystere, operating and meeting with each other, in
a single editorial gem. These eternal paper heroes of Italian
comics are the protagonists of three autonomous and self-conclusive
stories, to respect the personalities of the characters, but bound
to each other by an expedient narrative: a search which rediscovers
the mysterious world of Lucrezia.
In the first story, Dago, character of Robin Wood published in
Italy in independent albums and on the pages of "Lancio Story",
meets Lucrezia Borgia in the Ferrara of the Este family, as a
living witness to a historic event which concerns her. An "object"
appears in the story-we will not give away what- that constitutes
the expedient narrative to create this fantastic journey through
the centuries on the comic boards.
In the second story, we are in contemporary Ferrara, place of
great and prestigious exhibitions. The object is shown at an exhibition
and this tempts Diabolik, the famous character created by the
Giussani sisters, who arrives at Ferrara to steal it. The story
establishes an "expedient" to "visit" the
town and give information on the human adventure of Lucrezia Borgia.
In the last story we are still in present day Ferrara. Martin
Mystere, the encyclopaedic detective of the impossible, reveals
the "mystery" of the object revealing more information
and observations on the historical figure of Lucrezia Borgia.
The initiative is realised thanks to the collaboration of the
Astorina, Eura Editoriale and Sergio Bonelli Editore publishing
houses, the album will be published and sold by Editoriale Sometti
of Mantova.
